Kay was born on November 6, 1961 in Pekin, Illinois to Paul and Janet Conrad Dexter. She graduated from Freeport High School and went on to attend BYU- Brigham Young University. Kay married David Tuggle on October 17, 1981 and shared 43 beautiful years of marriage.

Kay passed peacefully at her home with Dave by her side. She wouldn't of had it any other way. Kay adored Dave and he adored her from their first date on May 5, 1981. They had a wonderful marriage and a great friendship during their 43 years together. Kay was a great mom who loved her girls immensely. She was fun, kind and made her life about taking care of them. She had five grandchildren that she loved and adored. Kay liked doing crafts and projects with them. Her house was the definition of "What happens at Grandma and Grandpa's house, stays at Grandma and Grandpa's." Kay loved her siblings and their spouses. She always shared fond stories of her childhood and her friendships with them. Kay adored her daddy and would tell everyone how she was his favorite, which no one could argue with. She had a strong love for her Mom, and she especially enjoyed her relationship with her as she became an adult. Kay will be missed by all that knew her. We take comfort in knowing that she is with her Daddy and that we too will see her soon.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Eugene Dexter.

Kay is survived by her husband, David "Dave" Allen Tuggle; her mom, Janet Elizabeth Dexter (Conrad); two daughters, Erin Lindsay Tuggle and Elizabeth Logan Coffman (Tuggle); two sisters, Kenna Evans (Dexter) and Krystle Dexter; two brothers, Kerry Dexter and Kirk Dexter and five grandchildren, Elijah Scott Coffman, Elizabeth Coffman, Gideon Aaron Coffman, Evelyn Marie Coffman and Lillian Mae Coffman.
