Age 47 of Amarillo Texas, Kasha passed away peacefully at her home on July 15, 2024.

Kasha was born April 20,1977 in Albuquerque, NM. She grew up in Odessa, TX and moved to Amarillo, Texas after marrying her soul mate Richard Rosas on October 11,2016. From the beginning Kasha was always so full of life and lit up every room she walked into. She was fearless in all things. She loved to travel and was able to visit several places and go on two cruises. One where she got to hold her beloved sloths. She was so happy in that moment. A few more of her favorite things were antique shopping, trying new things, and cooking especially if it was for her numerous family and friends. But none of that came close to equaling the love she had for being a wife, mother and GiGi. These were her favorite titles in life.

Kasha was preceded in death by her father, Steve Smith: grandparents, Emerson and Marjorie Oney and Harold and Betty Jo Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Rosas; her children Trey Urban, Tara Harmes, (husband Aaron), and Tori Urban all of Odessa TX, Landyn Rosas and Haylee Rosas of Amarillo Tx.; her granddaughters Kenadee Harmes and Trinitee Harmes of Odessa; her mother, Keira Smith; her sister, Keena Richardson; two uncles Kevin Oney and Glen Oney; her aunt, Jane Hurley and numerous cousins.

Kasha will forever be known as a kidney disease warrior by her family and friends. She fought so hard and never gave up. She left us all in awe of her strength and perseverance. Her spirit would not be broken. To know her was to love her and you always left the visit feeling lucky to have her as a friend.
