Kathryn Carlene Davis, born on September 6, 1949, in Salina, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Davis, her son, Clifford Davis, her sisters, Rita Ward and Bonnie Bichsel, her brother, Carl Ward, her parents, Carl and Katherine Ward; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robinson.
Carlene is survived by her devoted daughter, Jessie Davis of Washburn, TX, and her son, Zach Davis and wife, Alecia of Rogers, AR. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Reba Jaramillo and husband Albert; Debbie Smith; Gary Ward and wife, Barbara; Weldon Ward and wife, Susan; Michael Ward and brother-in-law, Larry Bichsel. Carlene took immense pride in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, and she is survived by her grandchildren: Jared Davis and wife, Kimber; Tessa Davis, Dalton Davis and wife, Makenna; Lainey Davis, Annabelle Davis, and great-grandchildren: Leighton Davis, Owen Davis, and Quin Davis.
Carlene married James Davis on August 13, 1966. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to her family, always ensuring they felt the abundant love she possessed. She was a hard worker and a long-time resident of the Washburn Community. Though times were not always easy, Carlene’s unwavering commitment to her family's well-being created a foundation of love and support that will forever be cherished.
Carlene had a simple yet profound outlook on life. She enjoyed reading, listening to radio programs, and found joy in the company of her family, whose laughter and love brought great happiness to her heart.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Washburn Cemetery.
