Obituary

Kathy Lauraleen Davis,74, was born in Amarillo Texas to Charles Patrick Mullen and Leola Belle (Scott) Mullen. She attended both Palo Duro High and later Alamo Catholic High School. Kathy went on to further her education at Amarillo College. She had interests in home economics, music and played the French horn. She later went on to work for Levi Strauss where she met the love of her life and remained married to him for over 50 years. She worked the majority of her life in child nutrition which she thoroughly enjoyed because of her love of children. She was always hard working and dependable. If there was a job to be done, she was the one to count on to get it done. She was the first to show up and the last to leave. Her word was gold and others took pride in her integrity. She was tender hearted, welcoming and generous with her love and acceptance, gentle nature and kindness to animals. She was a great listener and offered a kind ear and a shoulder to cry on, which she'd also cry along with you. She had a youthful energy and innocent heart. Kathy will forever be remembered for her unconditional love, welcoming smile, forgiving eyes and gentle nature.

She is preceded in death by Lee Scott, Ola Mae Scott, Charles Patrick Mullen, Leola Belle Mullen, Freddy Williams, Susie Davis, Sharon Davis Nelson, Frances Mabelle Mudgett, Dale R Mudgett, Cheryl Mullen and Kay Cotney.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Davis III; a daughter, Kirsten Davis; three sons, Thomas E. Davis IV, David Ray Davis and Charles Michael Davis; two sisters, Sandra Bridgeman and Sally Davis; two brothers, Donnie Mullen and Nelson Williams; three beloved grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
