Kay was born on February 5, 1947 in Ticonderoga, NY to George and ArLawene Starbuck. She moved to Tucson, AZ as a child, where she was raised, graduated high school and attended college. She moved to Albuquerque following college and went to work at Albuquerque National Bank before working as a receptionist at Rich Ford of Albuquerque, retiring after 35 years of employment. She was an avid bowler, playing frequently on several bowling leagues. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling with her best friend and life partner, Victor. Above all, she loved her family and cherished being Grandma Kay to her grandchildren.
Kay is survived by her son, Brian Berry and wife Julie of Amarillo; sister, Sharry Starbuck of Nevada; 6 grandchildren, Jacob, Bailey, Caitlin, John, Courtney and Brayden Berry and previous husband, Gil Berry of Albuquerque.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
