Kayla Juanita Frizzell, a vibrant and loving soul, was born on November 24, 1999, in Dalhart, Texas. She peacefully departed this world on June 28, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas, leaving behind a profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Kayla will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Ronald Frizzell and Maria Frizzell of Amarillo, as well as her brothers, Jerold Frizzell and his wife Becky of Stratford, Jeffrey Frizzell and his wife Jenny of Amarillo, and Michael Frizzell of Denver. She cherished her family deeply and was adored by her nieces and nephew, Alianna, Kamryn, Zandraya, Madison, and Braxton Frizzell. She is also survived by her grandfather, Bernade Carranza of Dallas.
Kayla was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Juanita Martin; great-grandfather, Albert Aragon; grandmother, Esther Carranza; grandfather, W.S. (Bill) Frizzell Jr.; and grandmother, June Frizzell.
A proud graduate of Dalhart High School, Kayla was a cherished member of the Dalhart Church of the Nazarene. She had a passion for life that radiated through her relationships, making her a beloved friend to many. Her warmth and compassion made every gathering brighter, especially during gatherings centered around her favorite holiday—Thanksgiving—a time she cherished for being surrounded by loved ones and delightful meals. Kayla's bond with her dog, Bella Rose, was a testament to her love for all living beings, adding joy and companionship to her life.
She will forever be missed, but her light will continue to shine in the lives she impacted.
