Erik was born on May 19, 1982 in Amarillo to Tron and Deborah Mjolhus. He was raised in Amarillo, where he graduated from Randall High School in 2001. While in school, he was in the marching band, playing on the drum line. As a child and into adulthood, Erik loved drawing and was a very talented artist. Taking this talent, he became a tattoo artist, working most of his career at American Vengeance Tattoo Studio. Erik was a black belt in Ju-Jitsu, teaching classes throughout Amarillo. He enjoyed traveling as often as possible, with Norway being his favorite place to visit. He will be missed by his family and his many friends.

Erik is survived by 2 sisters, Echo Caraway and husband Matt and Mai Mjolhus; nieces and nephews, Claire Caraway, Reagan Caraway and Hannah Caraway and Phoenix Mjolhus, all of Amarillo and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
