Larry Solis Beltran, 71, of Amarillo, passed away on August 27, 2026. He was born on August 26, 1955 in Amarillo to the late Jose Beltran Jr. and Josephine Solis. 

Larry received a  WT Masters Degree in Psychology. he was a Cartoonist, an Artist and a Writer.

He always walked everywhere and knew and spoke to everyone. Larry was loved by all of his neighbors and friends. He always always volunteered to feed homeless in the park. Larry was very kind-hearted. Everyone knew him from his kindness. Family always invited him around for get togethers because he was so fun to be around and made everyone laugh. 

In addition to his parents, Jose Beltran Jr.  and Josephine Solis, Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Beltran and a brother, Jimmy Elizalde.

He is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Freddie Beltran, Loyd Lamberson and Nita Lamberson; and many Cousins and family that loved him and will miss his smile, laughter and love.
