Larry Neil Robinson was born to Cecil Edgar and Annie Ethel (Boone) Robinson on April 10, 1950 at Stringtown, OK. He was raised around the Tascosa area, lived in the Amarillo area his whole life. He met Sue Atkins in 1966 and married August 26, 1967 in Vega, Texas. They were married for 57 years.
Larry was preceded in death by both parents, son, Randy Robinson, 9 brothers and sisters and 2 great grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Sue, daughter Lisa (Brian) Henry and son Kent (Aaron) Robinson, 5 grandkids, 13 great grandkids, brothers Tom Robinson, Jerry Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry worked in the Oilfield as a production supervisor for 37 years. He retired in 2015. He raised 3 grandkids Adam, Kaelyn and Branden Robinson. He also raised great granddaughter Madysen Robinson. He was loved by everyone, everybody called him Papa. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, deer hunting, fishing and working on his 1988 Chevy pickup. He was an avid pool player for Cattleman's. He played team pool for 12 years, he was on the Alsel board for 5 years, where he met and made many friends.
Larry was often heard asking everyone "Are you going to eat all of that?" He loved his family and always put them first. He was also known for always working on something and always helping others. He is going to be deeply missed by everyone.
