In memory of Larry Dean Woolsey, age 61, went to Heaven to b w/ some of his most loved ones. He was born on November 17, 1962 in Amarillo. He went to Mesa Verde Elementary School, then later Palo Duro High School. He worked as a home contractor and building repair as well as a painter. He was very artistic with painting cars and also did gardening and yard work, which he loved. He liked the consumer report magazine and had lots of friends who loved him. He was gentle and liked being alone to hike, walk and talk with Heavenly Father and Jesus. He liked ball games at the park and his favorite animal was a wolf.
He was preceded in death is his father, Jerry Woolsey. All his grands and one brother he has one sis whom he adored Shannon Woolsey and loved his mom very much. They did things together and enjoyed each other's company. He will be missed very much so he will have memorial service at Mount of Blessings Church at 3 pm Sunday, May 19, at 1600 N. Bivins St. He did love the Lord and went to church when he could. He was tall dark and handsome and had actually the most beautiful color of blond hair it was dark from his ball cap he liked jeans tees and tennis shoes. He liked to be a simple man and that is his favorite song I'm a simple man by Lynyrd Skynyrd which will be played at services. He had the best good long hugs, more than anyone. He was well loved and liked meatloaf and roast beef.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Vinson, brother, cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. He loved to give and help people and would give the shirt off his back and was for the homeless for charity.
