It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lauryn Nicole Ballard, who left us too soon on May 11, 2026. Born on December 31, 1998, New Years Eve, Lauryn brought the spirit of celebration into every moment of her life, living with the joy and love associated with that special day. Known affectionately by many as Missy LaLa, Little Bit, or Skittlez, she was the social butterfly of her family and surrounded herself with friends she loved fiercely.

Lauryn was passionate about her work as a restaurant server, determined to support her dreams and provide for her children, whom she adored with all her heart. As the baby of the family, she shared a special bond with her siblings and knew she could always count on her family for love and support. Never one to shy away from her "daddy's girl" title, she proudly wore it and planned on keeping that status forever.

She is survived by her parents, David and Paige Ballard; 2 daughters, Alyssa Rose and Alexis Renee; siblings, Jamey Burrough, Ryan Ballard and Stephen Ballard and many close friends, whom she loved deeply.

Lauryn was preceded in death by her beloved Meemaw, Bonnie Burrough and cousins, Matthew Kime and Alicia Burrough Boughan.
