Lawrence Birkenfeld, 52, of Amarillo passed away on May 26, 2024. Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Tony's shop.

Lawrence was born on November 13, 1971 in Amarillo to Anthony and Patricia Birkenfeld. He was raised in Amarillo, where he graduated from Amarillo High School in 1990. After graduating, he received his Bachelor's in Computer Science from West Texas A & M University. He leaved behind five children, Jordan, Christian, Auran, Hayelan, and Theydan. As a father, it was important to him to foster a love of learning and healthy curiosity in his kids. He shared with them his appreciation for cinema, movies, music and the performing arts. He also enjoyed photography, star-gazing, science fiction, video games, technology and of course computers.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to michaeljfox.org in support of Parkinsons's Disease.

He was preceded in death by Amber Gomez-Birkenfeld

Lawrence is survived by 2 daughters, Auran and Hayelan Birkenfeld; 3 sons, Jordan McKee, Christian and Theyodan Birkenfeld; parents, Anthony and Patricia Birkenfeld; 2 brothers, Stephen and Kyle Birkenfeld.
