Lcpl. Santiago Joaquin Gonzalez, 36. of Amarillo passed away on February 19, 2025.

Santiago was born on June 9, 1988 in Hobbs, NM to Armando and Sandra Gonzalez. He was raised in Amarillo, graduating from Caprock High School in 2006. He then enlisted in the United States Marines, serving until his honorable discharge. Santiago was a hard-worker, working mostly in construction throughout his life. "Rest Easy Son, We got your 6."

He is survived by his parents, Armando and Sandra Gonzalez of Amarillo; daughter, Betanice Del los Santos, currently attending UT of Austin; son, Zavion Gonzalez of Lubbock; ex-wife, Ashley Del los Santos of Lubbock; brothers, Skye Gonzalez and wife Samantha Braden Gonzalez of Carrollton and Fernando Gonzalez and wife Maureena of Amarillo; grandmother, Manuela Piedra of Hobbs, NM and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews of Hobbs, NM, who loved him very much.
