Linda was born on October 24, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Johnny and Lula Jones. She moved to Amarillo in her 20s, before moving to Lubbock where she met and married C.B. Stubblefield at the age of 30. She worked alongside him in the restaurant until his transition on May 27, 1995. She was a devoted member of New Birth Bible Fellowship Church.
Linda was known to be spunky, full of life, a firecracker. She was always straightforward with others, yet compassionate and loving. Linda never met a stranger, she would give everything she had to care for others, even if it was dangerous for her. To know her was to love her and her family affectionately referred to her as "Light Bright" because her smile could light a room. Above all, Linda loved her family. She was always supportive and loving to her daughters and everything going on in their lives.
Linda is survived by 3 daughters, Norma Wade of Chicago, LaCresha Jones of Houston and Normita Wade of Lansing, IL; 2 sisters, JoeAnn Jones and Toroy Bryson-Jones, both of Omaha, NB; 3 brothers, Charles Jones and wife Loraine of Kileen, Aaron Jones and Ellis Jones, both of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren, Tyshai Vieux, Gianna Morrison, Phiona Morrison, George Morrison, Jr., Xavier Walker and Alaysia Wade; 2 great grandchildren, Rohan Ireland, Jr. and Ayana Ukesone; close friend, John Kenyan; close nieces, Sharon Hodgest, Miranda Cook, Vanda Jones and Jerome Anderson as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Laranda Jones; 3 brothers, Daniel Jones, Johnny Jones, Jr. and William Jones.
