Obituary

Lindsey Leigh Smith, born on December 8, 1983, in Liberal, KS, and raised in Guymon, OK, passed away on September 16, 2025. She was a vibrant spirit, known for her big personality, hard work, and love for those around her. After graduating from Guymon High School in 2002, Lindsey settled in Amarillo in 2009, where she made her mark in the world of real estate and apartment management, most recently working at Sagebrush Apartments.

Lindsey was the kind of person who lit up a room with her outgoing and social nature. She was dramatic in the best way, bringing laughter and joy to her family and friends. Her big heart and emotions made her a loving mother, with her greatest joy being the time spent cheering on her sons at their sports events. A dedicated fan of the University of Texas and the Dallas Cowboys, she never missed a chance to root for her teams.

Lindsey will be deeply missed by her family and friends who knew her as a hard-working woman with an endless well of love for her boys and a larger-than-life personality.

She is survived by her sons, DaMontrae Marshall of Las Cruces, NM, Landon Ramirez of Amarillo and Jordan Irlbeck of Amarillo; parents, Ed and Rosemary Smith of Amarillo and William and Nancy King of Guymon, OK; sister, Tiffany York and husband Christopher of Dallas; brother, Caleb Dahl of Guymon, OK; nephews, Rip and Riley York; boyfriend, Undra "Dra" Hendrix; several aunts, uncles and cousins left to cherish her memory and many of her son's teammates, who considered her a second mother.
