Obituary

Lorelei was born on May 29, 1981 in Lubbock to Venito Rivera and Laurie Adcock. She was raised in Spur, where she worked as a correctional officer for a couple years, before moving to Colorado City, where she also worked as a correctional officer and eventually settled in Amarillo. Those who knew Lorelei, knew her to be the life of the party. She loved to sing and dance, and get dressed up, but most of all, enjoyed being with her family. She loved her children and loved attending their events.

Those who knew Lorelei, knew she was a wild one, Life of the party, Hoochie Mama in her prime. She was Bold and Crazy, always unapologetically herself. She had a hard life, her light was stolen and she fought many battles in the dark. I pray her mind is quiet. It must have been so loud for so long. And even though she's gone too soon and we are wrecked with grief. I know she's up in Heaven with my granny, renewed in her true spirit, happy and at peace. "Whoop Whoop!"

Lorelei is survived by her son, Drayson McGee of Amarillo; daughter, Alliyah Adcock of Amarillo; father, Venito Rivera of Amarillo; grandson, Malique McGee of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Kristian Rivera and Jennifer Ramirez and husband Joseph, all of Amarillo; brother, Trent Rivera of San Angelo and 10 nieces and nephews left to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Laurie Adcock.
