Loretta "Angel" Margarita Leis, 58, of Fritch passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023.

Loretta was born July 19, 1965 in Raton, New Mexico to Leroy Leal and Laura Cruz Lucero. She married Mike Leis on July 19. 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Loretta enjoyed drawing and especially writing children's books. She cherished spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. Loretta loved building and remodeling properties with Mike from start to finish. If she wasn't running a packer or tapping drywall, then you could find her and Mike at an estate sale or auction. Loretta and Mike were avid dancers, winning several waltzing contests.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Leroy Leal.

Loretta is survived by her husband, Mike Leis; mom, Laura Cruz and husband Art; two daughters, Maggie Longwill and Jolynn Stewart; a son, Joshua Trefethen; a sister, Angelita DeHerrera; two brothers, Vince Leal and Leroy Leal and 10 grandchildren; Serenity, Braxton, Kaden, Haylea, Jacie, Nixion, Hayes, Lydia, Korah, and Georgia-Anne.
