It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Margaret Garcia, who left us peacefully on December 10, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on February 23, 1943, Margaret lived a life full of love, dedication, and cherished memories.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Horacio Garcia, and her loving children: CeCe Rivera, Steven Garcia, Tony Garcia and wife Kim and Christina Brundrette and her husband Rick; sister Clara Montano. Margaret's heart also extended to her six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and Six great-great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Janice Apodaca, Bobby Chavez, Benny Chavez, Jefferey Apodaca, and Michael Apodaca. Despite those losses, she always reminded us of the importance of family bonds, showing us all what it meant to truly care for one another.
A proud graduate of Tucumcari High School, Margaret married the love of her life, Horacio, in 1961. Together, they built a warm and loving home in Tucumcari, where they were active members of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Margaret was known for her love of her flower beds and her dedication to creating a nurturing environment for her family. She was the heart of the home and always made sure everyone was taken care of before herself, embodying the true spirit of selflessness.
Margaret was also a huge fan of *General Hospital*, often bringing laughter and a few eye-rolls as she followed the lives of her favorite characters. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and there will never be enough words to express how much she will be missed.
Rest in peace, Margaret. Your love will continue to guide us, and your memories will forever be treasured in our hearts.
