Martha was born on January 3, 1966 in Temple, TX to Milton and Betty Novosad. She was raised in the Temple area, before moving to Lake Whitney, where she met her husband, Sam Walker. Together, they settled in Amarillo in 2019. Martha earned her Bachelor's Degree in computer programming and business from The University of Texas Arlington. She worked as a computer programmer for J.C. Penney for over 10 years. She was known to be strong-willed and independent and sometimes ornery, and was loved by all, mostly because of her sense of humor. She loved animals, almost to a fault, but above all loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Walker; 4 daughters, Jaycee Walker, Abigail Walker and husband Keenan Davis, Bryley Walker and Sydney Muccitelli and husband Derek aka "Gary"; 2 sons, Kader Walker, all of Amarillo and Curry Gaut of Houston; 2 brothers, Milton Novosad of Lake Whitney and Mack Novosad and wife Julie of Pueblo, CO; 10 grandchildren, Brynlee, Adaline, Nora, Emersyn, Lois, Josie, Oran, Emma, Eli and Willow; mother-in-law, Sandra Blanscet of Richland Hills; sister-in-laws, Sandi Sprong of Horseshoe Bay, Mesa Blankenship of Denver, CO and Ricki Ferrell of Richland Hills, TX; niece, Charlotte Novosad and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
