Matthew Thomas Lavender

Matthew Thomas Lavender, 52, passed away on August 4, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. He was born on June 19, 1974, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Matthew is survived by his spouse, Kristen Lavender, and their children, Noah Lavender, Luke Lavender, and Grace Lavender. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Rosalee Lavender and Faye Lavender, with a third granddaughter and first grandson on the way.

Matthew was preceded in death by his parents, Joan Puckett Roach and Kenneth Lavender Sr., as well as his daughter, Katelyn Kristina Lavender.

Though his absence leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who knew him, Matthew’s memory will remain alive in the stories and moments shared.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
