Melody Dale Bryant, 76, Amarillo passed away on June 19, 2024. The family will hold private services at a later date.

Melody was born on July 12, 1947 in Cushing, OK to Dever and Helen Geyer. She was raised in Pampa, where she graduated from high school in 1965. She then attended Northwest Texas Hospital School of Nursing, receiving her LPN. She was employed with Highland General Hospital before attending West Texas State, where she received her Registered Nurse Degree. Melody worked for the Veteran's Administration in Amarillo until her retirement. She married Bo Bryant in 1990 in Amarillo and they made many memories throughout their marriage. He preceded her in death February 4, 2024. Melody enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially on shopping trips. She will be missed by many who knew her.

Melody is survived by her daughter, April Allen of Amarillo; sister, Marsha Warden and husband Greg of Blooming Grove, TX; brother, David W. Geyer and wife Karen of Drumright, OK; step daughter, Benlinda Tindell and husband Stephen of Amarillo; 2 step-sons, Brett Bryant and wife Dawnya of Amarillo and Blake Bryant; nephews, Rick Warden, Randy Warden, Nathan Geyer and wife Lisa, Neil Geyer and wife Amanda; niece, Kendra Metcalfe and husband William and many great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, step grandchildren and great grandchildren left to cherish her memory.
