Molly Palmer, a bright and beloved soul, left us on June 18, 2025. Born in Borger, Texas, and raised in the close-knit community of Panhandle, Molly was a proud graduate of Panhandle High School. She was the cherished daughter of Pat and Florence Carhart.

Molly was known for her kind heart and her zest for life. She had a special love for horse racing and never missed a Kentucky Derby. Whether it was cheering for her favorite horse or simply enjoying the thrill of the race, Molly's enthusiasm was infectious. Beyond the racetrack, she adored animals, especially cats, and took great joy in pet sitting for her friends and neighbors. Many local felines were lucky to have her as their caregiver.

Molly is survived by her loving daughter, Marchelle Sickler, sisters, Regina Speaks and husband, Ron, Tammy Fox and husband, Joe, Linda Giles and husband Kevin and Darlene Sanders and husband Allen; brother, Eric Wright and wife, Tammy; grandson, Brett Sickler; nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends who carry on her spirit with every day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Florence Carhart and her granddaughter, Lindsey K. Sickler.
