Nancy Louise (Ericson) Goodwin, 84, of Amarillo, Texas passed away Monday, August 19, 2024.

She was born May 29, 1940 in Oak Park, Illinois to Oscar and Isabelle Ericson. Nancy attended Wheaton Community High School.

In her younger years she rode her beloved horse Buffy as much as she could. She will be remembered as a kind, loving and genuine friend who exuded unconditional love and supporting ways. Nancy worked as a meter maid in Wheaton, Illinois as a young woman. She later moved to Colorado and worked for Arapahoe County, Colorado as a home maker/ care giver for 30 years with seniors. Nancy was always very modest about her accomplishments. She was always amazed and exceptionally proud of her children and grandchildren. Nancy enjoyed traveling, going to movies with her amazing family and spending time with her dogs. Her hobbies also include taking pictures and collecting owls. Nancy was truly the foundation of her family and the glue that held everyone together. Leaving her family with so many memories that will always be cherished.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Susan Goodwin-Fallos and husband Tom of Amarillo, Texas; two sons, William (Will) Goodwin III and wife Kari of Aurora, Colorada and Don Goodwin and wife JiEun of Arvada, Colorado. Four amazing grandchildren, Austin Fallos and Brandon Fallos of Amarillo, Texas and Brooklyn Goodwin and Brynna Goodwin of Aurora, Colorado.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Colorado at a later date.
