Nicki Sue (Susie) Kimball Paulger passed away from this life August 13,2026

Susie was born on April 23, 1954, in Okeene, Oklahoma, to Marvin Kimball and Patricia (Armstrong) Kimball. She grew up in Stratford, Texas, where she graduated from Stratford High School in 1972. In 2000 Susie graduated from Texas Tech University earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Family Studies with a minor in Substance Abuse Studies.

Susie had a heart for people and a gift for making others feel loved and cared for. She was always willing to lend a listening ear to anyone who needed someone to talk to and never hesitated to help someone in need. Her compassion, kindness, and generosity touched countless lives.

Above all, Susie treasured her family. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart, and her greatest joy was being part of their lives. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, compassion, and the importance of always being there for others. Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and, most especially, through the family she loved so deeply.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Kimball and Larnce and Patricia Hartman ; her husband, Bobby Paulger; and her nephew, Michael Kimball.

Those left to grieve her passing and cherish her memory are her children: Monica Bryant and husband Bruce of Canadian; Kendell Moore of Lubbock; and Trisha Jenkins and husband Jake of Dripping Springs.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Bailey Bolton and husband Justin, Ben Bryant, Carlos Moore, Allie Jenkins, Rhettlie Moore, and Brighton Moore; her brother, Sandy Kimball and wife Suzanne; nephews Scott Kimball and Shane Kimball and her best friend, Tana Pemberton.

Susie will be remembered for her generous spirit, listening heart, unwavering love for her family, and the countless ways she made a difference in the lives of others. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in those who knew and loved her.

A private family ceremony will take place at a later date in order to celebrate Susie’s life and legacy.
