Norma Sylvia Lucero, 67, of Amarillo passed away Friday, July 12, 2024.

Norma was born on May 19, 1957 in Laredo, Texas to Antonio and Petra Garza. She attended Laredo High School. Norma married Jose Lucero in December of 1976.

Norma was very loving and always willing to open her doors to anyone. She was a homemaker and an Entrepreneur. Norma was a little lady with a big personality who loved to cook for her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her world and she would do anything for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Petra Garza; her husband, Jose Lucero; 4 sons, Odie Garza, Roy Lucero, Virgil Lucero and Jeremy Lucero and 2 granddaughters, Savvy Zepada and Marissa Garza.

Norma is survived by a daughter, Nelda Lucero of Amarillo. Texas; 2 sons, Freddy Garza and spouse Laura of Hereford, Texas and Joshua Lucero and spouse Chasity of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 8 sisters; 3 brothers; many amazing grandchildren and many many cherished great grandchildren.
