Obituary

Pamela Sue Hanna, 67, born December 22, 1956, in Duncan, Oklahoma, passed August 21, 2024, in Shamrock, Texas.

Pam had an emotional and spiritual understanding of her friends and a deep and profound love of animals, but her greatest accomplishment in life was her daughter Yolanda and her stepson RJ Criswell. She had a great empathy for others and was the rock that many leaned on. She was generous, sacrificially giving of herself and her time as a mother, daughter, friend, sister, aunt, and even "Pam-ma." She spent the last five years caring for her elderly mother and late husband, Paul Gray. She had a remarkable gift of being able to create a beautiful and serene environment wherever she lived. Pam's connection with her animals include her love for her donkeys and occasional goats and chickens in Parker, Colorado and her dogs, especially her bull terrier, Vinny and Louie. Having grown up in Denver, Colorado, Pam studied law at San Francisco State prior to beginning her long and beautiful, 36-year career at AT&T. She witnessed the technology revolution firsthand and facilitated it by leading network planning efforts for some of the world's largest companies. In her early career, Pam worked in the delivery of voice services. When it came to understanding the complexity of voice and later sophisticated data service delivery to large customers.

Pam was unquestionably the best in the business. Her many awards and executive recognition of her ability and willingness to go above and beyond were testimony to her place of highest honor among Project Managers in AT&T. The highest achievers in project management for many years had Pam's mentoring in common. She gave her time and counsel to many who will always hold her in highest regard.

Pam is preceded in death by Kosmas Mike Bobas, daughter Yolanda Bobas, father David Jones, stepmother Nancy Jones, stepfather Paul Gray, sisters Tracy Patton and Jerrilen Hammersmith. She is joined in her passing with her constant companion, Louie.

Pam is survived by mother Joann Gray, stepson RJ Criswell, sisters "The P's" Patti (Jay) Lynch, Pebble (Todd) Williams and Piper (Brett) Huckelbury, many nieces, nephews, family, and the friends she deeply loved. A celebration of life service will be held at a later time.
