Patricia Loomis, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on October 15, 1937, Patricia was the daughter of Vernon and Ruby Smith. She is survived by her cherished children, Bettina Jellison, Robert Jellison, and Aja Maynard-Smith, as well as her dear siblings, Myrna Carlyle, Lynda Garrison, and Michael Smith. Patricia's legacy extends to her eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom will dearly miss her warmth and love.

A proud graduate of high school in Altus, Patricia pursued her passion for caring for others through nursing school in Laguna Beach, California. Throughout her life, she embraced her diverse interests with enthusiasm, which included a love for dogs, thrift store shopping, traveling, gardening, drawing, and coloring. Patricia was also a talented cook, cherished family traditions, had a fondness for jewelry, and dedicated time to researching her family history. Her vibrant spirit was characterized by her love of the color green and her unwavering support of her family, attending every basketball game of her granddaughter, Aja.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Vernon and Ruby Smith. She will be remembered as a woman who radiated love and kindness, a sentiment echoed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on September 13th at 4:00PM, at Family Life Church 3900 SW 58th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79110, where family and friends will gather to honor Patricia's remarkable life and legacy.
