It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia "Dianne" Marshall, a beloved soul who graced this world from January 25, 1950, until July 10, 2025. Born and raised in the charming town of Elkhart, Indiana, Dianne was a proud graduate of the class of 1968. In the late 1960s, she married the love of her life, Robert James Marshall, and together they created a beautiful family.
In the mid-1970s, Dianne and Robert made the move to Amarillo, where Dianne's incredible journey continued. She worked for Levi Strauss before spending 32 amazing years at Planned Parenthood, dedicating herself to helping those in her community. Dianne was known for her headstrong spirit, resilience, and sharp intellect; she was a person who never backed down from a challenge.
Dianne was a generous and caring individual, always ready to lend a helping hand. She had a few simple pleasures that brought her joy, like sipping on a cold Pepsi, tending to her beloved plants, and diving into a good book. She could often be found enjoying her favorite shows, like *The Price is Right* and ID TV. A die-hard Boston Celtics fan, Dianne was more than just a sports enthusiast—she relished every moment spent cheering on her team.
Above all, Dianne cherished her role as Granny. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she poured all her love into every moment shared with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Marshall and husband James; sons, Robert Marshall, Daryl Marshall and Corey Marshall and wife Esperanza Sandoval-Marshall; siblings, Kenneth Barnes, Virginia Whitener and husband Levi and Tommy Gills; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
