Peggy was born on February 12, 1969 in Tulia, TX to Virgil Morris and Margie Genn. She attended school in Tulia, before settling in Amarillo as an adult. Peggy devoted her life to caring for her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching crime tv shows and coloring in her adult coloring books in her free time. More than anything, she loved being Grandma to her grandchildren. She especially loved going fishing with her granddaughter.

Peggy is survived by 2 daughters, Samantha Gonzales and husband Skye of Carollton and Melinda Braden of Amarillo; son, Jasper Morris of Amarillo; father, Virgil Morris of Amarillo and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Kenneth Braden and 2 brothers, Kevin Morris and Kendall Wylie.
