Rachel Ann Garcia, 64, of Tucumcari, New Mexico passed away Monday, March 25, 2024.

Rachel was born April 23, 1959 in Tucumcari, NM to George and Anna (Martinez) Aragon. She married Ralph Garcia in 1979 in Tucumcari, NM and shared many years of marriage until his passing.

Rachel was a devoted Christian and an avid book collector. She enjoyed baking and taking care of her ducks, chickens and dogs. Rachel was a cowgirl by heart, who enjoyed spending time outdoors. She was the best 'Nana" in the world and cherished spending time with her beloved grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Aragon; her husband, Ralph Garcia; a grandson, Thomas Prieto and four brothers, Henry Martinez, Bobby Martinez, Herman Aragon and Vince Aragon.

Rachel is survived by her daughter, Monique Smith and husband Quinn; two sons, Jason Garcia and wife Heidi and Justin Garcia and wife Kristen; a sister, Corrine Trujillo; a brother, George Aragon and wife Angie and 11 grandchildren.
