Ramona Faye Wren, 83, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was born in Achille, Oklahoma on February 20, 1941 to Roy Earl and Natalia Estele Byrd.

Ramona was a collector of cardinals and red birds. She was known to keep a very clean and organized home, as well as her yard. She was a sun worshiper and laid out in it every day in her bikini covered in baby oil and iodine. Ramona could be seen mowing that lawn in her bikini some days, which her children were reminded of by their friends. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting all the different zoos and riding rollercoasters. Ramona was a faithful Christian woman, who loved to spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by "the love of her life" her husband, Gerald Wren; a son, James Roy Isbell; a grandson, Jonathon Devitt; her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Ramona is survived by her daughter, Lori Wilkinson; her son, Jeff Barker and wife Rita; five sisters,
Patricia Smith, Carolyn McGee, Rhodora Alberty, Gloria Adams and Fern Page; two brothers, Gary Byrd and Larry Byrd and numerous grandbabies, great-grandbabies, great-great- grandbabies, nieces and nephews.
