It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Randy Dunlap's passing on June 23, 2025, just a week shy of his 72nd birthday. Randy was a beloved father, brother, and friend, known for his big heart and larger-than-life personality.
Randy is survived by his loving step-son Timmy Bridgeman and wife Sandy, and step-daughter Christina Prater and her husband Deiter and daughter, Kimberly Bridgeman. He will be dearly missed by his brother Sammy Dunlap and Curtis Dunlap and wife Diane; his grandchildren Piper and Paxton Prater, Alex Bridgeman-Lindsey, Dylan Wofford, Keltin Bridgeman, Great grandkids; Josiah Bridgeman, Alijah Bridgeman and Ransom Bridgeman. and all the furry friends he took in over the years.
Born on June 30, 1953, to Ray and Sue Dunlap, who preceded him in death, Randy had a passion for life that was unmistakable. He loved spending time fishing at the lake and cruising on his Harley. A good game of pool was never turned down, and weekends at NASCAR races were highlights. Randy had an unparalleled knack for picking up stray dogs and cats, always making room for one more in his heart and home. He was the type to take the shirt off his back for anyone in need—a true friend to all.
Randy's spirit lives on in the stories we share and the fond memories we hold.
