Obituary

Randy Eugene Noland, 62, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was born on October 10, 1963 in Amarillo, Texas to Carl Eugene Noland and Judy Ann Gann.

Randy was married to Charisse Noland for 14 years and had two daughters, Ashleigh and Amber. As a youngster he was an All-City wrestler at Bowie Junior High and went on to wrestle for Amarillo High School. Randy loved to camp out and fish with his mom and dad. He enjoyed being outside under the stars around the campfire with his family. He was a hard-working man just like his dad. Randy started out as an apprentice in the Local Pipefitters Hall, where he became a journeyman and went on to license. He enjoyed traveling to new places and riding with a big smile on his face, excitement in his eyes. Randy would always remind us "we are just here to have fun!" He loved to load his bike up and go to the river and ride all day.

Randy enjoyed hanging out all winter with his buddies building next year's car, anticipating spring so we could take it out and have fun. It was what he lived for every since we were little growing up at the dirt track with our Pops! Randy was a lifelong dirt track racing fan, avid car builder and driver whose lifelong ambition was to be a race car driver and he loved every minute of it behind the wheel. Screaming down the track made him feel free until Monday when he started pricing the thing that got tore up Saturday night. But always back to the drawing board he was dedicated, loyal, well liked and will be immensely missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl E. Noland and Judy A. Noland; a brother, Phil Hogan and a nephew, Jimmy N. Noland Jr.

Randy is survived by his two daughters, Ashleigh Deane Noland and Amber Nicole Richards; four brothers, William D. Noland and wife Angelita of Lamesa, Texas, Jimmy N. Noland and wife Reyna of Florence, Texas, Tim Hogan and wife Betty of Diboll, Texas and Jerry Wilson of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren, Aleigh Jetton, Adam Oakley, Stephen Noland, Myleigh Hudson and three additional grandchildren; four nieces, Tristan Noland, Isabella Noland, Tiffany Noland and Natalia Noland and two nephews, Nate Noland and Steffan Noland.
