Richard "Richie" Taylor passed away on September 30, 2024.
Richie was born on June 16, 1988 in Amarillo to Sidney and Chandra. He was raised in Amarillo, where he attended school. Richie had a smile as big as his heart. He would give a stranger the shirt off his back, if he knew they needed it. He was very creative and liked nothing more than to show his creativity through music. Richie loved the band Evanescence. More than anything, he loved his family, friends and his dogs.
He is survived by his life partner, Tanner Stanford of Amarillo; mother, Chandra Copeland and husband Steve of Amarillo; two brothers, Nicholas Taylor and wife Maurissa and children Braxton and Leighton of Michigan and Steven Letofsky and wife Kellie and children Richard and Emma of Japan; grandparents, Maggie Hill and husband Al of Amarillo and Barbara Martin of Amarillo and Charles and Joan Copeland; a special aunt, Nicci Hill and children Bentley and Jayla; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his beloved dogs, Foster and Toot.
Richie was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Taylor and grandfather, Richard Britting.
