Robert "Bob" Breid, 81, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Bob was born on June 21, 1943 in Mexico, MO to Richard and Anna Marie Breid. He was raised in
Mexico, where he graduated high school in 1961. He then married Linda Frey on February 1, 1966.
Together, they celebrated many wonderful memories. Bob was a "country boy" at heart. He loved to
be outside in the country and worked as a farmer for most of his life. Bob was an active leader in 4H as
an adult and as a young man showing cattle. He worked as a hotel manager for several years and a
volunteer deputy sheriff. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved to watch westerns.
Above all, he loved his family. He cherished beloved dogs and his family will always remember his love
for soft peppermints and oatmeal cream pies.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Breid of Amarillo; 3 daughters, MeLinda Greene of Amarillo, Sheila
Smith and husband Matt of Centralia, MO and Tamatha Salmons of Jefferson City, TN; 9 grandchildren;
11 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 grandchild, Charles G. Greene III.
