Ron Powers, 61, from Amarillo, Texas, passed away on the morning of May 24, 2025. Born on June 7, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his parents Jerald and Pearl Powers. Ron dedicated his life to family, service and generosity. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1981 and after a few years he became a proud firefighter for 23 years, Ron served his community with courage, and unwavering commitment. His dedication to helping others extended far beyond his career—he was always the first to lend a hand, help with repairs, or offer advice.

Ron had a deep love for animals and his family. He is preceded in death by his parents Jareld and Pearl Powers. Ron is survived by his loving children, Charris Powers and Matthew Powers, his brother Dale Powers and his family as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. His family will forever cherish his memory, strength, and the lessons he taught them.
