Sara Perez Bustamante, 83, passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2025. She was a Mother, and AKA The Grandmanater …but trying to describe her in a short time is almost impossible.
She was so many different things to all of us…she was whatever we wanted or needed at the time. Bryant was never wrong…ever! James was such a perfect hero.. and her grandkids are an extension of perfection as well. She was young at heart and even at death only had a few gray hairs. If someone she loved thought something was important then it was important to her. These were her beliefs. She was a giver and we all felt that…whether it was a stove you wanted cleaned, a toy you had to have, a payment you needed help with, something you maybe wanted but didn't really need…she would not have a second thought "let's go get it or I'll do that"! She was naive and witty at the same time. She danced and sang through life. When she was around there were no quiet moments. Everyone she encountered may not have liked her, but they definitely knew her. Her favorite sayings were "tell it like it is, bop your boppers, hot and fresh, flat like a tortilla, dumb broad". She loved the Lakers, Dodgers watching her grandkids, sports, going out to eat, dancing, singing (really off tune), creating, sewing, holidays, dressing up for Halloween, action movies. She never met someone she wouldn't talk to…maybe too much? Her family was everything to her. She is survived by her two sons James Bustamante and Bryant Bustamante, their spouses Farrah and Shannon Bustamante, six grandchildren Bryant plus his wife Selica, Jaxson, Amanda, Garren, Matt and Jacob Bustamante, two great grandchildren Aylah and Kaizen. She was loved and will forever be remembered and missed.
