It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steve Johnson, who left this world on June 2, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on March 13, 1951, Steve was a devoted family man and a cherished friend to many.

Steve is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Claude and Lavona Johnson, as well as his brothers, Johnny and Jimmy Johnson, and his son-in-law, George Jones. He is survived by his wife Kathy Johnson and loving daughters, Lisa Miller and Jamie Jones; his sister, Claudia Accuf; and his adored grandchildren, Harley Jones and wife Ruth Vela and Kadee Jones, Zachary and Zowie Miller. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Daxton Jones and Ally Sehr.

Steve dedicated many years of his life to his profession at Pioneer Natural Resources, where he was respected and valued by his colleagues. In his leisure time, Steve embraced a variety of passions, including riding Harleys, camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and working on Volkswagons. He enjoyed every moment spent surrounded by nature and the open road.
