Tamra "Tami" Dawn Sandt, 56, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was born on June 14, 1969 to Edward and Karen Higdon in Amarillo, Texas.
Tami enjoyed watching baseball and football, especially The Texas Rangers and The Dallas Cowboys. She liked to listen to country music some of her favorites were Dolly Pardon, Reba McEntire and Jelly Roll. Tami was a bargain shopper always looking for a garage sale and her favorite unicorn. She enjoyed playing bingo, working sudoku puzzles and watching "The Price Is Right" and "The Golden Girls" with a big glass of sweet tea. Tami most of all loved her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Higdon; maternal grandparents, Jolena and Wilburn "Red" Jennings and paternal grandparents, Doris Shaw and Edward Higdon Sr.
Tami is survived by her mother, Karen McGuire; three daughters, Tiffany Graham, Jennifer Houck and Megan Sandt; a son, Jeffery Graham; four sisters, Mandi Kelly, Luci Mayes, Renae Lewellyn and Cindy Price; boyfriend, Richard Lumpkins; step-mother, Dottie Higdon; 10 grandchildren, Brittany, Abby, Precious, Zaidin, Haylynn, Grayson, Abcde, Jesse, Rhylend and Zyn; a great-grandchild, Clayton and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.
