Terrie Reyna Solis (Loften), 59, of Gruver, Texas, passed away on March 2, 2026.
Terrie is proceeded in death by her parents, Raymond Roy and Mary Carolyn Loften, as well as her three brothers - James Lee Clanton, Thomas Clanton and Alvis "Shorty" Clanton. She is survived by her sister, Vickie Ogden, and spouse Paul Ogden.
Terrie was born on April 27, 1966, in Dalhart, Texas to Raymond Roy and Mary Carolyn Loften. She built her life in Gruver, Texas, where she created a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for her family.
She was the devoted wife of David Solis, and together they shared nearly 37 years of marriage. Their love was evident to everyone who knew them — built on commitment, partnership, and a deep friendship with the occasional bickering that carried them through life's joys and challenges.
Terrie was a proud and loving mother to Richard Stewart, Carrie Stewart, and Diana Sanchez. Her greatest joy, however, was being "Grandma." She adored her six grandchildren — Richetti, Jazmine, Brentlee, Kristofer, Roslynn, and Elena — and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of another precious granddaughter. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She loved traveling with the love of her life, making memories wherever they went. She never turned down a good iced sweet tea or a crisp, cold Dr Pepper. Her home was always a place of comfort and welcome with her cooking being at the center of it all. Terrie was the kind of mother and grandmother who showed up — whether you needed advice, a helping hand, or simply someone to listen. She gave freely of herself and made sure her family always felt supported and deeply loved.
Terrie will be remembered for her warmth, her steady presence, and the way she put her family and friends above everything else. Her love will continue to live on in each of the lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
