Theresa Chitty, 66, passed away on April 19, 2025 in Amarillo, TX. Born in Manhattan, NY, Theresa was just 12 when she and her family moved to Garland, TX, where she spent most of her life. In 2020, she made the move to Amarillo to be closer to her son, and it was there she found a new community while working at Bang Bang Vapors, where she made many close friends who will miss her dearly.

Theresa is survived by her two sons: Stephen Chitty and his wife, Katie, from Amarillo, and Thomas Moreno Chitty from Mesquite. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Gammon, and her husband Pat, from Colorado Springs, CO, along with her cherished grandchildren: Shawn, Christopher, Autumn, Tyler, Josh, and Dlorah and one great grandchild, Ezra Chitty. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eileen Chitty, her beloved spouse, Jesse Moreno, her brother James Chitty, and her adored dog, Tiko.
