Obituary

Thomas Lee Rogers, 66, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. He was born on October 17, 1958 to Barney Albert and Antonie (Reiss) Rogers in Hobbs, New Mexico. Thomas graduated from Tascosa High School. He dedicated 28 years of hard work and commitment to Walmart. Outside of his career, he found joy in life's simple pleasures. Thomas enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music, cheering on his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys and immersing himself in the timeless charm of Western movies.

Thomas had a gift for connecting with everyone he met, always bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney Rogers and Antonie Rogers and a brother, Jerry Rogers.

Thomas is survived by two sisters, Linda Moore of Kyle, Texas and Shirley Moore of Amarillo, Texas; four nephews, Jason Moore, Aaron Moore and wife Lindsey, Ryan Moore and Alex Rogers; three nieces, Brandy Moore, Lisa Henry and husband Josh and Sara Blain; seven great- nephews; two beloved grandsons; his step-daughter, Ashlynne Phillips and husband Jacob of Amarillo, Texas; two step-sons, Mitchell Phillips and wife Randa of Ada, Oklahoma and Grant Phillips of Amarillo, Texas.
