Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Joseph McAlpine, who left us on December 13, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on June 7, 1964, to Thomas and Barbara McAlpine, Tim was a one-of-a-kind individual who brightened the lives of everyone he met.

Tim was a dedicated family man, happily sharing life with his beloved wife, Guadalupe "Lupe" McAlpine. Their love was a beautiful partnership, filled with laughter, support, and adventures that brought joy to all around them.

An avid NASCAR and Dallas Cowboys fan, Tim could often be found cheering on his teams with a fervor that was contagious. His love for animals was evident, and he always made room in his heart and home for furry friends. An outdoorsman at heart, he cherished his camping trips, where he could immerse himself in nature.

Tim had a knack for building, creating, and fixing things. Whether it was a home project or a simple repair, he approached everything with enthusiasm and skill. Known for his incredible cooking, he had the special ability to turn a gathering into a feast, dazzling everyone with his ribs and brisket that were truly unbeatable.

Tim was a hard worker, starting his professional journey at the young age of 16. His tireless dedication and strong work ethic were an inspiration to those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lupe McAlpine; son, Shane Mullins; step-sons, Miles Prugle and Tyler Newkirk; sister, Leanne John and husband Prince; brother, Steven McAlpine and wife Tiffany; 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Peggy and Randi.
