With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Trey Wossum, who departed this life on
June 7, 2025, at the age of 48. Born in Amarillo, Texas, Trey was a devoted father, son,
brother, and friend whose warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by
all who knew and loved him.

Trey is survived by his beloved children, Dixie Lynn, Jackson Randall, and stepson
Cooper Smith, and their mother, Mikki Wossum. He also leaves behind his mother,
Gloria Coleman, and stepfather, Chris Coleman; siblings Trinitie Edwards and Korina
Police; stepbrothers Shane Dunlap, Vance Dunlap, and wife Irma; and their mother,
Rosemary Wossum. Trey's legacy also lives on through his nieces and nephews,
Rhandi Warner and husband Gary, Brady Diaz, Alex Diaz, Piper Allen; and great-nieces
and nephews, Demi, and Saige.  He also leaves behind his uncle, Andy Boggs and
many loving cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Wossum, his grandparents, Johnny
Wossum, Betty Wossum, and Jewel Roberts, and many loved and cherished aunts and
uncles.

A proud graduate of Caprock High School, Class of 1995, Trey went on to dedicate
more than 20 years of service as a journeyman lineman with Xcel Energy.  He later
became the owner of HesterKreek Construction and was known not only for his strong
work ethic and skilled hands, but also for his love of the outdoors.

Whether hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying time with his children, Trey found joy in
nature and in the simple moments of life. His talent for building and creating, reflected
both his craftsmanship and his creative soul.

Trey's kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends will remain in
our hearts forever.
