It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Troy Neuman, who departed this life on February 13, 2026. Born on March 20, 1958, Troy was the beloved son of Marvelle and H.B. Neuman and was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Maybel and Fred Cox, brother Dane Neuman, and his sister, Vicki Starkey.

Troy is survived by his daughter, Misty Neuman of Hutchinson, KS, his son, Ryan Neuman and daughter-in-law, Tiffani, of Canyon, TX, and his cherished grandchildren: Gavin Neuman of Canyon, TX, Hailea Johnson of Aurora, CO, Avana Blackburn of Hutchinson, KS, and Nola Blackburn of Hutchinson, KS. He is also survived by his brother, Ralph Neuman of Amarillo, TX, as well as nephews Arlo Blue and Ezra Starkey.

A proud graduate of Canyon High School, Class of 1976, Troy dedicated his early years to working on the family farm. He later pursued a career as a mechanic, caretaker, and in the building trades. Troy possessed a remarkable talent for working with his hands, and he took great joy in activities that included reading, traveling, camping, and a profound interest in airplanes and gliders. He was known for his kindness, warmth, and deep love for his family, all of whom mourn his loss immensely.

In this time of mourning, we invite all who knew Troy to reflect on the cherished memories and the positive impact he had on all of our lives. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
