Vicente "Inez" Galan, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on January 22, 2026, just a day after celebrating his 66th birthday. Born on January 21, 1960, Vicente was known for his generous spirit and his knack for spoiling the children in his life. He found joy in many hobbies, including gardening, leather crafts, painting, and drawing. Inez loved exploring Amarillo, often seen riding around on the Amarillo transit, soaking in the sights and sounds of the community he adored.

He is survived by his sisters, Maria Galan of Hereford, Seferina Flores of Canyon, Ramona Villanueva and husband Jose of Tijuana, MX, Alicia Jimenez of Hereford, and Maria Cardenas of Canyon; step-sisters, Mary Jane Chavira and Adela Gonzales and husband Pablo of Hereford; brother, Juan "Posta" Galan and wife Rosa of Amarillo; brother-in-law, Luis Garcia of Greely, CO, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, who brought immense joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julio and Bicenta Galan, his sister, Elvira Galan Garcia, his brother, Fermin Galan, step-mother, Julieta Galan; step-sister, Mary Ann Berumen and brother-in-law, Israel Flores.
