REMOVAL, EMBALMING AND RESTORATION
Shafer Mortuary Services prides itself on professionalism necessary to our industry. We strive for rapid response times, with well-dressed staff in clean, reliable vehicles. Have special embalming needs? No problem! We can accommodate most any request. With over 26 years of combined experience, we are able to meet many restoration and embalming challenges!
SHIPPING AND TRANSPORTATION
We are able to offer full ship-outs to include: removal, embalming, refrigeration or dry ice, securing and filing for necessary documentation and permits, a combination unit or air-tray and delivering to Amarillo International Airport.
We are also able to offer overland transportation by vehicle at a reasonable rate.
CREMATION AND REFRIGERATION
We are proud to be the only mortuary service in Amarillo with an on-site crematory as well as over 750 square feet of refrigeration space! Our state of the art retort is able to accommodate a quick turn-around time. We are also prepared to assist you with viewed cremations and accommodating religious requests.
DEATH CERTIFICATE FILING AND LEGAL DOCUMENTATION
We want all of our customers to experience the impressive level of professionalism when working with Shafer Mortuary Services. All of our services, especially this one, exist to make your life easier and stress free. We are trained on the Texas Electronic Registrar, assisting you in filing for Texas Death Certificates as well as transit permits and International travel documentation.
FUNERAL DIRECTOR SERVICES
This is one of our most popular services available. It has made a big difference for many of our customers, and is provided with the highest level of excellence. With this service, we are able to provide a licensed director to make funeral arrangements, conduct funeral services or provide funeral home coverage so your owners or staff can take a vacation! With many years of funeral service experience, you can trust that your funeral home will be represented in the way you would conduct business.
FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS
This is a service we truly enjoy. We are able to create custom floral arrangements such as casket sprays and easels as well as baskets and vases for funeral services. We are used to accommodating changing schedules of the funeral business and are able to adapt to your needs.
