I can't thank Shafer's enough for the care and thoughtfulness that we received from Candace, Eric and Jack. We suffered a huge family loss and unlike the funeral homes in and around Canadian, that let their greed take the lead, they offered us everything we needed without taking us for every penny they could. Shafer's priority is making your family feel comforted and taking care of your loved one. Thank you all for making one of the hardest times in our lives less stressed and less of a financial burden. We laid my son to rest this week. Jack Gandy was instrumental in helping us get arrangements made and explained everything thoroughly. He is very professional and compassionate. We knew my son and both families were in good hands during this difficult time. We had plenty of time to prepare for other things that were needed. I have known Candace for many years, but when my mom passed this June. Eric and Candy made the whole process so easy to our final farewell. They were there for me and my family from day 1. Jack Gandy did my mother in law’s funeral yesterday in the worst wind possible which we are so sorry about but grateful for all the hard work that was done to insure it was beautiful service.
